Sophomore, Kings LacrosseMarin eclipsed 100 career goals during a big ECC win over Milford last week!

Junior, Kings BaseballMatthew threw a complete game no-hitter against Walnut Hills on Wednesday. He allowed only two walks and had nine strikeouts.
Owen Burwinkel
Senior, Little Miami LacrosseOwen, a senior midfielder and team captain, paced the Panthers with five goals in its ECC win against Anderson and contributed two more in an out-of-conference matchup against Bellbrook. Owen is the fifth-leading goal scorer in the ECC, with a total of 30 on the year.
Derek Gomez
Junior, Little Miami TrackDerek has made strong contributions to the mid-distance squad all season. On Tuesday, he ran a personal-record time of 4:40 in the 1600m run at our home Senior Night Meet. At the Kettering Fairmont Firebird Invitational, he led off and had the fastest team split on the third-place 4x800 team. On Friday, he ran a personal-record time of 1:59.77 to take third in the 800m dash. The Panthers are looking for Derek to break some school records this week at ECC and in postseason races.
Samantha Rose
Senior, Little Miami TrackSam cross trained well through shin issues mid-season to return to competitions with vengeance this past week. At Senior Night, she placed second in the 100m hurdles and first with her 4x400 team as she ran her last competitive lap on her home track. On Thursday at Kettering Fairmont, she ran a season best in the 100m hurdle prelims and a lifetime best in the 300m hurdle prelims. She came back on Friday to place fifth in both events and match her lifetime-best time in the 300m hurdles. Her leadership on the team will be missed next year.
Taylor Denning
Sophomore, Turpin TrackTaylor had another monster week for the Lady Spartans! She had three goals vs. Ursuline, the first of which was her 100th career point! Against Lebanon, Taylor had five goals and two assists leading the Lady Spartans in scoring!
