ECC Winter Sports Season Updates / Honors


BOYS' BASKETBALL:  A pair of surprise teams sit atop the ECC standings, as both Turpin and Loveland are currently 3-0 in Conference play.  The two teams are also a combined 10-1 overall through December 16.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL:  The Lady Eagles of Walnut Hills have won back-to-back Conference titles, finishing last season with a perfect 14-0 ECC record.  The Lady Eagles have begun this season with an unblemished 5-0 record through December 16.

Walnut Hills' Kennedi Myles Joins 1000-Point Club!

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles' Kennedi Myles for scoring her 1000th career point in a December 3 contest against West Clermont.  Kennedi is commited to play next year for Miami of Ohio!

WRESTLING:  Loveland will be shooting for a third straight ECC Championship.  The Tigers dominated the Conference Meet last year, outdistancing runner-up West Clermont 307-187.  This year's ECC Meet will be held February 16 at Loveland HS.

BOYS' DIVING:  This year's ECC Diving Championships are slated for Milford HS on January 24 at 5 pm.

BOYS' SWIMMING:  Walnut Hills swam its way to last year's ECC title, the team's first since the 2013-14 season.  This year's Conference Meet is slated for January 26 at Milford HS.

GIRLS' DIVING:  Milford HS will again host the ECC Championships, scheduled for January 24 beginning at 5 pm.

GIRLS' SWIMMING:  The Lady Spartans of Turpin won their fourth title in the last six years last winter.  This year's ECC Meet is slated for January 26 at Milford HS.

BOYS' BOWLING:  West Clermont won last year's ECC boys' bowling title, going undefeated in league action.  The ECC Championship is based on two rounds of league play.  The Wolves have picked up where they left off last winter, currently sitting at 6-0 in ECC action through December 16.

GIRLS' BOWLING:  Loveland and West Clermont have begun the season with perfect 6-0 records through December 16.  The ECC Championship is based on two rounds of league play.
